The Tibetan Refugee Camps village situated at the south and the Tashi Palkhel village in the north of Pokhara are renowned for the production and trade of woollen carpets and other handicrafts. The original Tibetan settlers in this region migrated to Nepal in the ‘50s. This is a very attractive place and culture for every traveller.
